As a license professional of 17 years I have seen many unhealthy hair and scalp and I am saddened that so many women neglect the health of their scalp and hair for the sake of keeping styles longer. If you are experiencing excessive dryness, your scalp will need to be cleansed 2-3 times weekly. It is also important to get the proper diagnosis for your scalp condition. Not all flaking is dandruff. Many people have serious scalp conditions that needs to be addressed by a dermatologist. Get informed; know the difference.

Hello all,
Welcome to On Point Blog spot.
So ladies, what is more important to you healthy hair/scalp or style; perhaps both? In order to maintain healthy hair and scalp, your hair must be cleansed regurlarly. The reason we shower regularly should be the the same reason you shampoo your hair, it is dirty and it smells. Am just saying……….., please cleanse your scalp regularly, you may have to forfeit certain styles; but isn’t the health of your hair and scalp more important than mere styles?
